TNA has had quite the week. The company has officially been purchased by Anthem Sports & Entertainment. Dixie Carter is no-longer Chairman of the company. Now, it looks like they are starting fresh with a new TNA World Heavyweight Champion.
TNA taped their upcoming shows at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida this weekend.
According to PWInsider.com, Bobby Lashley defeated Eddie Edwards in a 30-minute Ironman match at the tapings to become the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion. This marks the 4th TNA World Title win in the career of Lashley. Lashley was successful in reclaiming the title that he lost to Edwards back in June.
