As mentioned prior, TNA has officially sold to Anthem Sports & Entertainment Corp. This news had a lot of fans excited about the future of TNA, after months and months of turmoil. But how much is really going to change with the sale?
The press release announced that Dixie Carter would be stepping down from her position as Chairman. It was announced that said she will join the Advisory Board of Fight Media Group and remain as a minority shareholder in TNA. So how much will Dixie Carter still be involved?
According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, not very much. According to their sources, Dixie will not be at the upcoming TV taping for TNA, either on camera or behind the scenes.
There is a general feeling that this means Dixie is finished with any of the creative or business decisions with the company. She still holds minority ownership and a place on the advisory board but the positions look to be for her to save face before she eventually steps away.
This is good news for TNA fans who were unhappy with the direction of the company. It looks like Dixie is no-longer going to be involved in the day-to-day operations.

Hopefully the company starts fresh and is able to ignite some life into it again. A re-brand wouldn’t be the worst thing, considering TNA will always have a negative connotation along with it. We will keep you updated with any more news regarding the future of TNA!
