Chris Jericho has been consistently one of the best parts of Monday Night RAW since he returned to WWE back in January of 2016. Since that day, WWE fans have been given the ‘Gift Of Jericho’ every single week on WWE TV, but could it be coming to an end soon?
Jericho has mentioned that he didn’t plan on staying with WWE for this long. He admitted that he is currently working on a “month-to-month basis” in an interview with Live Audio Wrestling (LAW) back in November:
“…my original plan when I came back last January was to stay until WrestleMania… four months. Then, it started going so good, I re-signed I think until July and then I re-signed until October and then I re-signed until November. Now it’s basically a month by month thing. I’ve got a certain time frame in mind but I can’t even say that because what was supposed to be four has already been ten because I am smart enough to know this”
It looks like that end date could be after Wrestlemania 33 in April. Jericho’s band: Fozzy announced back in October that they had signed a new record deal for 2017.
Proud to announce that we just signed a new record deal with @centurymedia! Get ready for @FOZZYROCK 2017!!

The band also recently announced on Twitter that they would be performing at some festivals in late April and early May. What this probably means is that Jericho’s current run with WWE will be ending at Wrestlemania 33 so he can focus on his music career.

I think it is all but inevitable that we will be seeing a Kevin Owens vs Chris Jericho match. This current run for Jericho has been incredible and certainly has cemented him in WWE history.
