AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose went to war at the WWE TLC PPV last night. It was a very hard-fought match that saw Styles retain his WWE World Championship. There was a lot of great moments in the match, including a springboard 450 splash from Styles onto Ambrose who was sprawled out on a table.
WrestlingInc.com is reporting that after TLC went off the air, Styles was attended to by a WWE doctors at ringside. Their correspondent in the arena saw Styles holding his right ankle and trying to move it around. He was noticeably limping as he made his way up the ramp and received a standing ovation from the crowd.
WWE hasn’t made any announcement about an injury but they did mention that Styles would be defending his title against James Ellsworth. This gives us the indication that he might have tweaked something at the PPV but he is going to be okay.
