5) Kevin Owens vs Cesaro
Cesaro tops the list as one of the best wrestlers on the entire WWE roster. He has an impressive combination of power and agility that make him very fun to watch in the ring.
His problem has been that WWE management haven’t seen him as anything more than a mid-card guy because of his speaking ability. You might remember Vince McMahon’s interview on the Stone Cold Podcast back in 2014, where McMahon said Cesaro lacks ‘IT’:
“He’s not connecting yet, but we hope he will. He doesn’t quite have the charisma, doesn’t quite have the verbal skills as well”
Since 2014 we have seen Cesaro put on countless great matches. A dedicated section of fans even started the ‘Cesaro Section’ showing their support of the Swiss Superman in every building he wrestles in.
Maybe this is the year that Vince McMahon says screw it and gives Cesaro a chance. Kevin Owens and Cesaro would tear the roof off the building at Wrestlemania. Both are two of the best wrestlers in the company and have worked together in the past.
I don’t think it would be too difficult to build Cesaro up as a top contender. A lot of fans WANT to get behind him, why not let them?
This is probably the most unlikely of the 5 on the list but I think it would make for a great match.
