The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Finals

The Authors of Pain took on TM61 in the finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Paul Ellering was suspended above the ring in a cage to prevent him from interfering in the match.

The Authors of Pain won the match in relatively quick fashion. They won the tournament and maintained their dominance. TM61 put forth a strong effort, but were never close to taking out the BEASTS that are the Authors of Pain.

This was the only match on the card to last under 10 minutes long. It was by far the WORST match of the night. Not saying it was horrendous or anything, just the other matches on the card were much stronger.

This match did open the eyes of fans to the potential of TM61. They are relatively new in NXT and showed potential to be a strong tag team as they develop further. It was also made clear that the Authors of Pain are going to be tough to stop as they likely head into the tag team title scene.
