Seth Rollins participated in a fan Q&A on WWE’s recent European tour. He was asked a wide variety of questions about his WWE career. One of the most intriguing questions was when he was asked about the match between Sasha Banks and Charlotte headlining Hell in a Cell over his match against Kevin Owens.
Rollins says that he is happy for the women and he thinks it is great that they were given that opportunity:
“As far as the level of competition, I think that that’s awesome. I think with the women really pushing the envelope, bringing their brand of things to the next level, with Charlotte and Sasha and Bayley and all of the ladies. That’s not a knock on SmackDown, but just what we’re doing on RAW right now, it’s really pushing the envelope, especially the women, so I welcome the competition”
While he is happy for them getting the opportunity, Rollins being a competitor wants to be the best match on the card every single night:
“It was a historic moment for the ladies and I was very proud of them, but I’m a competitor and I want to be in the main event every single night. And Kevin and I went out there. We tore the house down and made it really difficult for those ladies to go in after us and follow. But I know, knowing Sasha and Charlotte, they wouldn’t have had it any other way”

Love the competition. Hope this drives every person on the roster to go that extra mile in their matches to entertain the crowd. Friendly competition is always a good thing and can help elevate everyone’s games.
