After RAW this week, Shane McMahon, Daniel Bryan, Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley sat down for the ‘State of the WWE Universe’. The show aired on the WWE Network and featured a ton of fireworks. This included Daniel Bryan going OFF on Mick Foley.
During the ‘State of the WWE Universe’, the Smackdown LIVE and RAW General Manager’s got into a war of words about who was doing the better job so far post-draft.
Daniel Bryan went into full Talking Smack mode during the segment, even name dropping TNA in his exchange with Foley:
“I care about my job. I don’t think anybody doubts that I care about my job and I come in and do my best. You can’t hold it against me that I would rather be in the ring wrestling than being the General Manager, because 2001 when you quit, what did you do? You went to TNA and you went to wrestle”

Bryan did misspeak a little bit. The instance he was talking about was 2008, not 2001 where Foley went to TNA when he was only being used as a color commentator for WWE. You can find the full show on the WWE Network, but they might edit it out.
I personally love Daniel Bryan in these WWE Network shows. Seems like he just doesn’t care and will say absolutely anything on his mind. As a result we have seen some entertaining segments on Talking Smack and now on this show.
