Earlier this week, Brooke Hogan spoke to TMZ and claimed that her father, Hulk Hogan, had been in contact with WWE for a potential return at Wrestlemania 33 in Orlando. This news had the wrestling world buzzing as Hogan has been blacklisted from WWE since his racial scandal came out in 2015.
Hulk was recently a guest on Eric Bischoff’s podcast, Bischoff on Wrestling. During the interview, Hogan addressed the rumors that his daughter started:
“I know if I don’t bring it up nobody will. So anyway, Brooke’s running around on TMZ and made the statement about me and wrestling and WrestleMania. For the record, she needs the big boot to the head. I haven’t talked to anybody about WrestleMania. I just need to put that to rest.
I asked Brooke, “What are you doing?”
She goes, “Oh, well, I’m just starting it up.”
I said, “Thanks Brooke.” It was kind of funny. I said, “No harm. No foul.” It was all in good fun”

Looks like we can put to bed these rumors for now. When I posted the story about Hogan possibly returning, it received a mixed response with some saying too soon and others saying they want to see him back. Likely still too soon to bring him back but I expect to see him sooner than later back on WWE TV.
