Jim Ross Blogs About The Rumors Of Hulk Hogan Returning For Wrestlemania 33

Earlier this week, we posted about Hulk Hogan possibly returning to WWE for Wrestlemania 33. Hogan’s daughter: Brooke revealed to TMZ that her dad was in talks to return for the event. Hogan’s controversy from 2015 is widely documented and he was completely blacklisted by WWE as a result.

Legendary commentator Jim Ross took to his blog to discuss the rumors of the Hulkster possibly returning for Wrestlemania 33 in Orlando, Florida.

“Why do so many people seemingly question the logic of WWE in perhaps bringing Hulk Hogan back for a WM33 Orlando appearance? Seems like good marketing to me and something that I’d concur with without any reservations. Hogan’s an icon, the Babe Ruth of his era, and would appeal to many fans who will engage the April 2, 2017 event. I think that it would be fun for many fans to see the red and yellow front and center at Wrestlemania because after all he did have a significant hand in helping build the brand that changed the business” (Source: JRSBARBQ.com).

Hogan possibly returning will be an interesting topic of debate. His racial remarks were horrible and I doubt many would argue that. He does have a large place in WWE history so it would be hard to completely erase him. Wrestlemania 33 just seems a bit too soon for him to appear and I would bet that the company would receive some significant backlash if they were to bring him back.
