Goldberg Responds To Seth Rollins Saying That He Is Past His Prime

Seth Rollins appeared on ESPN’s First Take several months ago and took a shot at Goldberg for being ‘past his prime’. The hosts of the show asked if Goldberg were to come back, if he could beat him. With typical Seth Rollins arrogance, he said that Goldberg couldn’t hang with him (in character).

Goldberg appeared on the same show this past week where he was promoting his match against Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series. During the appearance, the hosts showed him the clip of Rollins telling him that he was ‘past his prime’.

Here is how Goldberg responded:

“Hell no I’m not past my prime, Rollins is just trying to get a little rub, which is gonna put him in the hospital. So he better pray to God when I beat Brock [Lesnar] that I don’t have anymore left in me because his head will be served on a platter” (Source: ESPN First Take).

Goldberg also talked about his desire to be a ‘superhero’ and positive role model to his young fans. For those who worry about his age and his body, he says that he is in the gym constantly and still feels good.
