Dean Ambrose faced off against AJ Styles this week on Smackdown LIVE. If Dean won, he earned himself a shot at the WWE World Championship. James Ellsworth ended up costing Ambrose the match by getting him disqualified. Ellsworth was accompanying Ambrose to the ring for the match and ended up super kicking AJ.
Ellsworth looked upset after the match for costing Dean this chance at the belt. He also was a guest on Talking Smack where he apologized profusely to Dean:
.@RealEllsworth apologizes PROFUSELY for being “selfish” on #SDLive, costing @TheDeanAmbrose his #1Contender chance. #TalkingSmack pic.twitter.com/L7nmC6oYVH
