One of the biggest rumors of the last couple of weeks in professional wrestling is WWE potentially buying the TNA video library. This would allow them to use old footage for their stars that previously wrestled there. One of the wrestlers that would benefit from this the most is AJ Styles, who spent a large chunk of his career with TNA.
In a recent interview with the Phoenix New Times, Styles was asked about these rumors. Here is what he said.
On the rumors of WWE buying TNA’s tape library:
“Sure. I mean, there’s a lot of guys that worked there that went through there, especially me, where having the library would be pretty beneficial. From Sting to me to Samoa Joe to [R-Truth] … even Road Dogg went through there. There are several guys that went through that brand and to have all that would be great” (Source: Phoenix New Times).

If he thinks WWE should buy TNA and use some of their talent:
“I don’t know. I think that I would love for them to be them and us to be us. Competition’s a good thing and to see some of my friends maybe losing their jobs, that’s never good. So I would love to see them continue to exist and do so” (Source: Phoenix New Times).
