PWInsider.com is reporting that Dixie Carter had a meeting with the TNA locker room to discuss the current status of the company. As noted prior, there have been plenty of rumors that TNA is for sale and WWE could potentially be involved. Below are some details about what Dixie told the locker room.
-Pay has been late for some TNA stars because the company is waiting for different parties to pay them first.
-She confirmed that the WWE placed a bid on TNA. She said that there was an offer from the WWE but they didn’t want to sell to them. TNA still owns their tape library and did not sell anything.
-Admitted that TNA was scrambling a bit financially before Bound for Glory but the PPV was never in doubt of happening.
-She admitted that there has been a struggle with some of the other ownership (she is still majority owner). Billy Corgan did not attend the locker room meeting.

Looks like we can extinguish the TNA being bought by WWE rumors, at least for now. I am actually a fan of TNA staying as a company but I think they need a makeover. Their brand name is tarnished, I think it might be better to start over as something fresh and build from there.
