Sami Zayn Talks About A Potential Match Against Brock Lesnar

Kevin Owens recently spoke on Sportscenter about his desire to face Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 33. It appears as if Owens’ long-time rival Sami Zayn also wants in on a potential match against the ‘Beast Incarnate’. In a recent interview with the Wrestling Compadres Slamcast, Zayn talks about his desire to face Brock Lesnar.

Here is what he said:

“I’ve been beat up pretty badly back in my day. I have been in the ring with Kevin Owens for about 12  years, I’m used to getting beat up. Obviously Brock has done his damage, I’m sure I can get a good shot or two, and I believe it’s all about putting on a compelling match, and I believe that would happen with the two of us” (Source:  Wrestling Compadres Slamcast).

Zayn also speaks about his match against Shinsuke Nakamura as the perfect way to end his NXT career. He also says that NXT has shown incredible progress and change since he started with the WWE a couple of years ago.

Brock Lesnar vs Sami Zayn? I think Sami plays the underdog role so well that this could actually be pretty fun. As long as the WWE books the match properly and allow Zayn to shine a bit, I think it could be a fun match.
