CM Punk recently made headlines after he lost his Mixed Martial Arts debut at UFC 203. Many wrestling fans have wondered if this meant that he would be returning to the WWE and professional wrestling. Punk and the WWE are currently involved in a lawsuit together based on Punks controversial comments from Colt Cabana’s podcast.
John Cena was recently interviewed by TMZ. Cena was asked if he thinks that there is a chance WWE fans will see a CM Punk return to the company. Here is what he said:
“If I know one thing about my boss Vince McMahon, he always does what’s good for business, if it’s good for business it will work out. The name in the question doesn’t matter about that, if it’s good for business it’ll work out” (Source: TMZ).

I agree with Cena. If we were able to see a fractured relationship like Vince McMahon and Bret Hart recover, CM Punk could return to the WWE one day. It seems like Vince and the WWE always put aside personal issues if it makes sense for business. I think a lot of fans would enjoy a return from Punk and there is probably a ton of money to be made from it.
