Finn Balor faced Seth Rollins at Summerslam for the first ever WWE Universal Championship. Right before the match, Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley revealed the brand new title design for the Brooklyn crowd. Things didn’t go as expected for the WWE as the crowd seemed to hate the design and chanted throughout the Balor/ Rollins about it.
Finn Balor went on to defeat Seth Rollins to become the first ever WWE Universal Champion. After the match on Twitter, Seth wasn’t upset about the loss, he was upset about the crowd.
Here is what he said:
More important than a title’s appearance is what it represents for the men fighting over it. You really let me down tonight, Brooklyn.
— Seth Rollins (@WWERollins) August 22, 2016
Hard to disagree with him. The match was great between Rollins and Balor but it felt like the crowd tried to take it over. I personally am not the biggest fan of the new design but I don’t think I would let it ruin a match between two incredible talents.

Sometimes the crowd can take over a match and it looks like that is what happened in this case. Let us know what you think in the comment section below. Agree or disagree with Seth.
Dont blame the crowd, on this incident, blame the WWE. They knew they had an ugly, knock off belt when they made it.
