Ryback was officially released by the WWE this past week and is now free to do as he chooses. If you remember, Ryback was in a contract dispute with the WWE and even fought for equal wrestler pay. That didn’t go well and the WWE and him agreed to let his contract run out. We now have an update on Ryback update Post-WWE, including his new name (kind of), how much his asking price is and more.
According to various sources, Ryback is charging independent promotions $4500 per appearance. If you book him for a couple of events, promoters are reportedly getting a discount. He is also reportedly charging $5000 if a promotion doesn’t have a strong reputation.
Ryback will be going as simply: The Big Guy, as his name moving forward as seen in this promo for WrestleCade:

There are also reports that he is in talks with New Japan Pro Wrestling with interest from both sides. Nothing more than talks at this point. He will likely wrestle a bit independently before he commits to somewhere else full-time. This has been your Ryback update!
