Here are the results for the August 9th Smackdown LIVE:
-The show kicks off with an interview with Randy Orton backstage. Alberto Del Rio interrupts. They will face off later tonight.
-Bray Wyatt cuts a promo in the ring with Erick Rowan. Dean Ambrose interrupts followed by Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler accidentally superkick’s Ambrose, followed by Wyatt hitting Sister Abigail on Ziggler to end the segment.
-Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon make Dolph and Dean vs Rowan and Wyatt for later on in the show.
-American Alpha defeat a random tag team while the Hype Bros, The Ascension and the Vaudevillains are all at ringside. American Alpha stands tall to end the segment.
-Eva Marie has a wardobe malfunction and can’t compete…. Becky Lynch says she wants a match. Alexa Bliss accepts the challenge.
-Alexa Bliss defeated Becky Lynch after Eva Marie provided the distraction.
-Carmella defeated Natalya.

it’s old school like back in the 80’s help build guys and build there finishers to make those finishers a big deal and shit like that

Why
No reason in particular, I just prefer to watch somebody get called up to Raw/Smackdown and not know anything about them. All these NXT callups recently, I’ve never seen 1 match from then until the draft happened. I’ve only watched NXT for Nakamura but I just watch his match then turn it off.

Why were people calling the Dean Ambrose/Stone Cold podcast weird? I watched it, it didnt seem out of place.

In what way? I think thats how Dean is. If you watch Unfiltered w Renee Young, and the interview she did with Dean, he acted the same way.
It just felt very awkward and hard to watch he was evad I Nguyen questions and stone cold couldn’t find much on him but he did his best was on fire asking him questions about education and childhood and how he broke into the business and Dean would just give short answers and would just ramble and evade questions it was hard for me to watch at times
Dean was being real chill about his childhood. He didnt want a sob story, “oh i grew up so poor, we didnt have anything” cliche. Seems like he grew up normal. There wasnt much to talk about on that subject. Interview was still good tho overall.
The dynamic was awkward I think he means. Stone Cold wanted some fast paced answers and dean was laid back

In my opinion Brock made it work cause of the freak athlete he is but we don’t know about Punk honestly it comes down to there skill set, weight class and the right fights against the right people like if Ziggler who is a wrestler by trade fought a great striker or a great ju-jitsu fighter would he have good submission defense and if he could not get a striker down to the mat then how will his stand up skills hold up too me i don’t think you can have just one great skill you need to have a all-around skill set especially in this era of MMA.
Del Rio has opt out clause in his contract you think he will opt out I don’t think he will to much money
I think if he is truly disgruntled with his position in the company, he may. But I feel like he is making too much money to do that.
