Here were the highlights of the interview:
Pat Patterson on when Vince McMahon will retire (Patterson is one of McMahon’s closest friends):
“Never. [Laughs] There was a convention for workaholics in Chicago once and I said to Vince: “You should go there.” You know what happened? No-one showed up… they were all too busy working” (Source: Newsweek).
If Roman Reigns has hurt his career with his recent WWE wellness policy violation:
“No, I don’t think so. Everybody makes mistakes one time or another. We all do stupid things at one time or another. We have to be smart… when you’re young you don’t know anything. I think he’ll be alright” (Source: Newsweek).
I agree with Pat on Reigns. I think it will only be a small blemish on his career when we look back at it. I am also convinced that Vince McMahon will keep working until the day he dies. The man is incredibly dedicated.
The book gives a detailed look into Pat Patterson’s life. He has notably worked on screen and as a producer backstage for a number of decades.
