Bret Hart Criticizes Seth Rollins Again

You might remember a couple months ago, Seth Rollins spoke on Talk is Jericho, saying that Bret Hart hurt his feelings while he was out with his injury. He heard Bret make some outspoken comments in an interview about him breaking John Cena’s nose (last year) and getting injured while being the top guy in the company. Bret’s comments drew a lot of ire from fans but it looks like he is sticking to his argument.

In a recent interview with Forbes, Bret Hart spoke on a wide variety of topics. One of these topics was Cody Rhodes, who Bret has a lot of respect for as a performer. He compliments Rhodes for being safe and throws another jab at Seth Rollins in the process.

Here is what he said

“Every move [Cody Rhodes] does is safe and perfectly executed. You watch Seth Rollins who they’ve pushed as this huge mega, mega push. I watched him a few months ago, and you can watch it back on YouTube, but he knees John Cena in the face. Just knees him in the face so hard, so recklessly, so dangerously, you can easily kill somebody with a knee like that in the face” (Source: Forbes).

I am sure that these comments won’t go over too well. I still don’t really like the argument from Bret. From all accounts the broken nose seemed like an accident. Obviously Seth didn’t mean to shatter Cena’s nose. Things like that can happen and I don’t think Seth should be labelled as unsafe because of that incident.

It doesn’t help Seth though in the eyes of Bret that he also injured Sting during their match last year. If you remember, Sting took the turnbuckle bomb that looked like it tweaked his back. This was Sting’s last match before he retired.
