The opening match of Smackdown Live featured a battle royal to determine the 6th competitor in the six-pack challenge later that night. Bray Wyatt, Baron Corbin, Dolph Ziggler, AJ Styles and John Cena received automatic bids with the winner going on to face Dean Ambrose at Summerslam. Zack Ryder was a part of that battle royal and you might have caught a couple botches on his part.
He first missed a dropkick on Kalisto as he got a bit too much air. After that he went for an ‘Elbrow’ drop on Apollo Crews but he slipped. Zack transitioned nicely though and turned it into to an instant ground and pound attack on Crews. The commentators helped him out a bit, saying he slipped due to all the sweat. After the two noticeable botches, Ryder took to Twitter to joke about the situation:
Now I know how the Shockmaster felt…

The Shockmaster reference is from when the Shockmaster tripped through the wall in his debut back in WCW.
Dolph Ziggler went on to win the six-pack challenge in surprising fashion, becoming the number one contender in the process. With the win he earned himself a title shot at Summerslam for the WWE Championship against Dean Ambrose.

Ziggler has been low on the card for the past couple years on WWE TV. After his big win, he posted that you are only as good as your last match:

Poor Zack. He and Sin Cara are botch kings.
