Jim Ross Comments On Randy Orton’s Shot at Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins As A Villain

At WWE Battleground, Randy Orton made his WWE return in the ‘Highlight Reel’ segment with Chris Jericho. During the segment, Randy took a shot at his Summerslam opponent Brock Lesnar and his recent USADA violation. Randy said ‘no enhancement needed’ which is an obvious reference to Brock popping in his post-UFC 200 drug test. Legendary commentator Jim Ross took to his blog to talk about that line. He also questions why Seth Rollins is still a heel.

JR on Orton’s shot at Lesnar:

“The Jericho Highlight Reel was well done and Orton delivered a memorable line regarding not needing to be “enhanced” referring to Brock Lesnar’s drug test failure surrounding UFC 200. Cool line. Most memorable line of the night. Jericho was a perfect foil for Orton Sunday night” (Source: JRSBARBQ).

JR questions if Seth Rollins should be a heel moving forward:

“Why should I dislike alleged villain Seth Rollins? He rarely cheats, he’s a great athlete that does tons of fan favorite spots and has overcome a potential career threatening injury that was well documented. Getting fans to dislike Rollins is going to be challenging abased on the current lay of the land” (Source: JRSBARBQ).

I agree with JR on Seth. I think the WWE might even pull the double turn with Reigns and Rollins soon enough. I think fans find it hard to boo Rollins as he is so talented.
