The WWF vs WCW war has escalated into full fledged mayhem as No Mercy finally has arrived. Sting looks to fend off not only Stone Cold Steve Austin and Chris Jericho but a challenger from within WCW in Rob Van Dam in a Fatal Four Way Match for the WWF Championship. The Rock and Diamond Dallas Page battle not only for the WCW World Championship but to determine who is The Real People’s Champion. Edge and Christian’s internal battle over the Intercontinental Title enters into a match they have specialized and Trish Stratus and Lita take on Torrie Wilson and Stacy Keibler in a Tag Team Lingerie Match as tonight the WWF and WCW will show each other No Mercy

– Saturn pins Farooq when after the ref was distracted by Stevie Richards, Raven came in and hit Farooq with the evenflow allowing Saturn to pin Farooq

WCW World Tag Team Championship Match: The Hardy Boyz w/ Lita def. Sean O’Hare and Chuck Palumbo (c) to win the titles
– The Hardy Boyz are accompanied by Matt Hardy’s girlfriend Lita, who is dressed in her normal style of clothling before her lingerie match later in the night
– O’Hare and Palumbo double-team the Hardy Boyz for most of the match while the Hardy Boyz counter through their high-flying attacks
– Near the end of the match, Jeff made the hot tag as Matt ended up cleaning house as he DDT’ed Palumbo and threw O’Hare out of the ring
– Matt then went up top and hit a flying cross body onto O’Hare but when he got back in the ring he would be surprised by a Djungle Kick
– As Jeff hits a running clothesline off the barricade to O’Hare outside of the ring which distracts WWF Ref Mike Choida, Lita performs a Lita-canrana on Palumbo, giving the advantage to the Hardy Boyz
– Matt delivers a Twist of Fate to Palumbo and Jeff finishes Palumbo with a Swanton Bomb, allowing Matt to pin Hurricane to get the win and win the titles
Backstage: Rob Van Dam & William Regal
– Rob Van Dam arrives at the arena and runs into WCW Commissioner William Regal
– He suggests that RVD apologize to Sting and RVD says no
– Regal then says that RVD better have nothing to do with Vince McMahon and RVD says he is just looking out for No. 1
– Regal tells him not to do anything he would regret later
Parking Lot: Vince McMahon & Michael Cole
– A limo pulls into the arena and Mr. McMahon steps out
– Michael Cole catches up with him and asks why he was there and Vince says that all of Cole’s questions would be answered before the night was through, one way or another
– He says he was at No Mercy to get what he wants and that is get to the WWF Title away from WCW
WCW’s “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner w/WCW Commissioner William Regal def. The WWF’s Kurt Angle
– Angle goes right after Steiner as soon as Angle entered the ring
– In the early stages, Steiner gets the advantage after a Belly to Belly suplex on Angle
– After a quick comeback by Angle, William Regal got on the apron but Angle quickly went to the apron and knocked him off the apron with a right hand only to turn around into a belly to belly suplex
– Afterward, Steiner locks Angle in the Steiner Recliner but Angle is able to get to the ropes
– Steiner lets go after the ref’s count gets to 4, however, as the referee is amonishing Steiner, Regal knocks Angle out with Brass Knuckles as Angle had his head between the middle and top rope as the ref was distracted
– Steiner follows up on the situation by lcoking on the Steiner Recliner and the referee noticing that Angle is out cold stops the match giving the match to Steiner as Regal enters the ring and raises Steiner’s arm in the air in victory
Backstage: Stone Cold Steve Austin
– Michael Cole asks Stone Cold what he thinks about Mr. McMahon seemingly supporting RVD
– Austin says that he does not give a damn who Vince McMahon is supporting cause he does not trust anybody since this whole invasion began and then Mr. McMahon walks in to say hi to Austin
– Vince wishes Austin the best of luck tonight
– Austin says he doesn’t need luck
Tag Team Lingerie Match The WWF’s Trish Stratus and Lita def. WCW’s Torrie Wilson and Stacy Keibler
– The match begins with both teams taking off there robes with Trish wearing white lingerie while Lita wore black lingerie
– Torrie wore red lingerie and Stacy wore blue lingerie
– Torrie and Stacy would double team Lita through out the match until Lita got the hot tag to Trish
– Trish ended up cleaning house and Trish was setting Torrie up for the Stratusfaction bulldog as Lita ended up covering for Trish by hitting the Lita-Caranna to Stacy who tried to stop Trish as Trish hit the bulldog and pinned Torrie for the victory
Ladder Match for the WWF Intercontinental Championship: The WWF’s Christian (c) def. The WWF’s Edge to retain the title
– During Edge’s entrance, Christian comes out and attacks Edge on the ramp
– As the match starts, the fight begins on the ramp
– After a long and brutal match, Edge went to the top of the ladder and like Shawn Michaels did to Razor Ramon hit a splash off the top of the ladder onto Christian
– Edge then started to climb the ladder and was at the top reaching for the title only for Christian to hit Edge right in the ribs with a steel chair knocking him off the ladder
– Christian then set up another ladder behind two other ladders and started to climb only for Edge to go to the top rope and spear Christian off the ladder
– E&C then climbed the ladders on opposite sides and duked it out but there ladder fell to the outside as both went crashing to the floor
– Edge and Christian were both very slow to get to there feet but Edge got in the ring first
– Edge started to climb the ladder but fell off a few times as he was very sore while Christian was getting steel chairs on the outside of the ring as Edge was able to climb some more
– Christian soon got in the ring and hit Edge with a chair below the belt as Christian then mauvered the ladders
– Christian soon climbed the ladder and manuvered the chairs and gave Edge a one man con-chairto on top of the ladder. Edge’s prone body rolled off the ladders allowing Christian to pull down the title to retain the Intercontinental Championship
WWF Tag Team Championship: WCW’s Flithy Animals (Billy Kidman and Rey Mysterio Jr) def. The WWF’s The Dudley Boyz (c) to win the titles
– Before the match, we see how the NWO took out Spike on Smackdown
– As the match starts, Dudley Boyz dominate Mysterio until The Flithy Animals get momentum by hitting a double missile dropkick on the Dudleyz after Kidman got a blind tag
– Kidman eventually performs a double shooting star press onto The Dudleyz on the outside
– The Flithy Animals continue to use there high-flying to disoreinate The Dudleyz until Bubba tags in and starts dominating the match
– Bubba performs a Bubba Bomb on Kidman but Mysterio hits Bubba with a Seated Senton
– Mysterio performs the 619 on D-Von and Kidman delivers the shooting star press to D-Von
– Bubba then catches Rey when he goes for the West Coast Pop and counters it into a powerbomb and Bubba avoids a spinning wheel kick and the referee gets knocked out
– The Dudleyz hit Kidman with the 3D and attempts a pinfall but there is no referee to count the pinfall
– Mysterio on the outside drop toe holds D-Von onto the steel steps when D-Von left the ring as the two brawled and Kidman takes advantage of the situation by low blowing Bubba Ray
– Kidman then tagged in Rey, who dropkicked Bubba into the ropes allowing Rey to hit the 619 and the West Coast Pop to get the pin and win the WWF Tag Team Championship
WCW United States Championship Match: WCW’s Booker T (c) def. The WWF’s The Undertaker to retain the title
– During Booker’s entrance, The Undertaker leaves the ring and starts attacking Booker on the ramp
– As the match starts, the fight begins around the ringside area and into the crowd before Booker is backdropped back into ringside by Taker
– Late in the match, Booker hit the Axe Kick to Taker but only got a 2 count from WWF Official Tim White which led to Booker frustrated about the two count hitting White with the Book-End
– As Booker got up and turned around. Taker who had sat up hit Booker with the chokeslam only for Taker when he turned around would be met by a Big Boot from Test.
– As Test taunted Taker, Kane came out and clotheslined Test out of the ring as the two brawled into the crowd and into the backstage area
– Back in the ring, Booker left the ring and grabbed the United States Title before re-entering the ring
– Booker went to hit Taker with the title but Taker hit Booker with a big boot as he was charging in
– Tim White was starting to stirr after the Book-End as Taker signaled for the Last Ride as Booker grabbed the US Title once again
– Taker went for the Last Ride and as soon as Taker went to lift Booker up. Booker hits Taker in the face with the US Title
– Booker quickly got the title out of the ring before pinning Taker as Tim White made the 3 count to give Booker the victory and to retain the United States Title.
WCW World Title Match: WCW’s Diamond Dallas Page def. The WWF’s The Rock (c) to win the title
– In the early stages of the match, DDP went for the Diamond Cutter, but The Rock got out of it and almost hit The Rock Bottom before DDP quickly got out of the ring.
– The Rock got out of the ring and as DDP turned around. The Rock laid DDP out with a clothesline
– The Rock, picks up DDP and starts slamming his head off the announcers table before DDP blocks The Rock trying to slam his head one more time by low blowing The Rock and dropping him face first on the announce table
– DDP then sent The Rock into the steel steps and took the top part of the steps off and was going to attempt the piledriver but The Rock backdropped him off the steps
– Late in the match, DDP locked The Rock in a sleeper hold but The Rock broke out of it with a modified jawbreaker
– DDP charged after The Rock but The Rock hit the Samoan Drop and only got a 2 and a half count from WCW referee Charles Robinson
– The Rock then charged at DDP but DDP caught The Rock with a right hand and hit his series of punches before hitting the discus clotheslines
– DDP gains several near-falls until Rock makes a comeback by clotheslining DDP
– Rock plants DDP in the corner and hits a Superplex off the top rope
– Rock performs a Belly to Belly Suplex for a near-fall
– DDP fights back and hits Rock with his own finisher, the Rock Bottom for a nearfall as DDP is starting to get frustrated
– DDP hits The Rock with his Belly to Back inverted mat slam known as The Diamond Clash and then attempts to hit Rock’s own finisher, the People’s Elbow but Rock avoids the move and applies a Sharpshooter on DDP
– DDP reaches the ropes to break the hold
– Rock leaves the ring and removes the top of the Spanish announce and it’s monitors
– WCW Owner Shane McMahon comes out as The Rock puts DDP on the announcers table as Shane gets on the table trying to stop Rock from Rock Bottoming DDP, only for The Rock to grab Shane and hit a Double Rock Bottom to DDP and Shane through the announcers table
– The Rock throws DDP back into the ring and goes for the cover
– The ref counts to two and right before the three, DDP barley kicks out as The Rock’s eyes look like there about to bulge out of his head
– The Rock then went for a Rock Bottom but DDP fought of it only for The Rock to hit DDP with a spinebuster and attempts to hit the people’s elbow
– WCW President Eric Bischoff comes out and grabs The Rock foot, allowing Shane who has recovered to sneak a steel chair into the ring for DDP
– The Rock grabs Bischoff by his hair and brings him into the ring and goes for The Rock Bottom.
– DDP however nails The Rock in the back with the Steel Chair as Charles Robinson does not call for the bell obviously hoping to get the WCW Title back to WCW as DDP then hits The Rock with the Diamond Cutter on the steel chair as DDP makes the cover and Robinson counts 3 to give DDP the victory as DDP wins the WCW World Championship and brings it back to WCW.
Fatal Four Way Match for the WWF Championship: The WWF’s Stone Cold Steve Austin def. The WWF’s Chris Jericho, WCW’s WWF Hardcore Champion Rob Van Dam and WCW’s Sting (c) to win the title
– In the early goings of the match, Austin and Jericho dominate Sting and RVD but as soon as the two get into a staredown, Sting and RVD start double-teaming him
– Sting attempts to hit a Scorpion Death Drop on Jericho but Jericho counters it into the Walls of Jericho.
– Stone Cold breaks the hold proving that he don’t give a damn who’s side your on he wants his title back as Stone Cold and Jericho start fighting back
– Sting eventually begins fighting with DDP and performs a Catapult on RVD into the steel steps outside the ring
– Jericho clotheslines Austin to the outside of the ring. Jericho climbs the top rope and attempts to hit a Cross Body, but both Sting and Austin move out of the way as Sting soon runs Austin face first into the ring post
– Moments later, Sting after bringing Jericho into the ring hits a Scorpion Death Drop on Jericho and attempts a pinfall but RVD breaks up the pin
– RVD sets Sting up in the corner, and hits the Split-Legged Moonsault for a near-fall
– Jericho hit a bulldog and lionsault on RVD and attempts a pinfall but Austin breaks up the pin
– Austin knocks Jericho from the ring, and then goes outside the ring after him
– Austin and Jericho duke it out on the outside, and Austin removes the top of the other announce table as he brings Jericho with him on top of the table
– He attempts to perform a Stunner on Jericho, but Jericho caught it and locked on the Walls of Jericho on the announcers table
– RVD then lays out Sting with a spinning heel kick, before leaving the ring as Jericho still had the WOJ on Austin as RVD got on the announce table and roundhouse kicked Jericho in the face as Austin/Sting/Jericho were laid out as RVD was standing tall
– Suddenly, Eric Bischoff comes down to ringside
– RVD who got back in the ring and Sting are the first two men up, and they slug it out inside the ring, where RVD hits Sting with a Steam Roller then a Rolling Thunder
– Van Dam climbs up the top rope, but Sting crotches him on the top rope and hits a top-rope superplex
– Austin finally gets in the ring, and hits Sting with the Stone Cold Stunner, but Sting falls outside the ring, so Stone Cold turns his attention to RVD
– Bischoff gets in the ring and nails Austin in the back with a steel chair
– RVD climbs up the top rope and performed a Five-Star Frog Splash on Austin, but RVD can not go for the pinfall immediately
– When he finally attempts the pinfall, Jericho breaks it up
– Jericho hits RVD with a missle dropkick and another Lionsault, but as he attempted the WOJ, Eric Bischoff interferes in the match again and hits Jericho in the back with a Steel Chair shot aswell.
– As Bischoff is leaving proud of what he has done. Vince McMahon comes out and when Bischoff turns around. Vince cleans Bischoff’s clock with a Steel Chair shot over his head as Vince stood over Bischoff giving him the double bird.
– Back in the ring, Sting sets-up a defenseless Stone Cold Steve Austin for the Scorpion Death Drop but out of nowhere, RVD goes for a springboard side kick and Austin ducks as RVD hits Sting in the head leading to Austin hitting RVD with the Stone Cold Stunner and covering RVD to get the 3 count to win the match but more importantly winning the WWF Championship as Stone Cold has brought it back to the WWF. – No Mercy ends with Stone Cold Steve Austin celebrating with some steveweisers as Vince looks on with a smile on his face as he actually looks happy for once that Stone Cold is the WWF Champion.
