Brock Lesnar Comments On Vince McMahon Allowing Him To Fight At UFC 200

Brock Lesnar will take on Mark Hunt at UFC 200 this weekend after the announcement that shocked the world several weeks ago. Brock returning to the octagon was strange considering he is still under a WWE contract (one that he signed only last year). The only way he was able to fight was with permission from Vince McMahon. It is rumored that when Brock signed his new deal it had a stipulation in the contract that would allow him to fight  in a UFC event if both him and Vince agreed. In a recent interview, (H/T Fox Sports) Brock Lesnar comments on his relationship with his WWE boss.

Here is what he said:

“The devil’s in the details in the language; it’s not complicated when you have the right people who understand your contracts and understand your life. That really boils down to it. Vince giving me the nod to be able to do this, I have great respect for the man and I think he has a greater respect for Brock Lesnar after I walked out in 2004 and went on to become UFC heavyweight champion” (Source: Fox Sports).

I think this fight will only do wonders for Brock Lesnar moving forward with the WWE. If he wins the fight, he comes back to WWE TV more feared then ever. If he loses the fight, the WWE can still book him as a pissed off monster who is going to take it out on everyone in the locker room.

I will be cheering for Brock this Saturday night and I hope he is able to win. The BEAST is back and I am looking forward to seeing him throw down!
