Smackdown this week was taped on July 5th 2016 and will air later this week on TV. The July 7th 2016 Smackdown was taped from Toledo, Ohio. This is the second last Smackdown before we go LIVE!

Here were the results of the July 7th 2016 Smackdown:

-Seth Rollins defeated Jey Usos via pinfall after a Pedigree. Dean Ambrose was the special guest ring announcer during the match. Rollins and Ambrose get into it after the match but Rollins runs away.

-Zack Ryder defeated Sheamus. Ryder apparently had new entrance music and gear.

-Ryder vs Rusev is made for Monday Night RAW for the WWE United States Championship.

-Becky Lynch is attacked by Natalya before her match starts.

-Xavier Woods sit down interview: says he fears the Wyatt Family but will join the New Day in their trip to their compound.

-AJ Styles defeated Enzo Amore via pinfall after the Styles Clash.

-The Miz defeated Kalisto via pinfall after the Skull Crushing Finale.

-Backstage segment with Sasha Banks. Sasha vs Dana Brooke is made for RAW next week.

-Sami Zayn defeated Chris Jericho with Kevin Owens on commentary. Jericho hits a codebreaker on Sami while he is celebrating. Owens hits the pop-up powerbomb on Zayn to end the show.
