If you watched NXT Takeover The End, you saw a MASSIVE tag team make their WWE NXT TV debuts by attacking American Alpha after they lost their tag team titles to the Revival. Here were some highlights posted by the WWE on Twitter:
Did the legendary #PaulEllering just unleash this monstrous duo on @WWENXT at #NXTTakeOver? pic.twitter.com/AegjAhGdBK

The tag team is called the ‘Authors of Pain’ (Sunny Dhinsa and Gzim Selmani). They have worked a number of NXT live events over the past couple weeks. Gzim Selmani is a former MMA fighter. Both guys are MASSIVE!
The massive duo will apparently be managed by WWE Hall of Famer Paul Ellering. You likely remember him for his time managing the legendary tag team the Road Warriors.
Will be interesting to see how the WWE books these beasts moving forward! Let us know what you thought of their debut at NXT Takeover The End.
This was my 1st NXT event that i watched & it will be my last. I did not enjoy it. First of all, the crowd is annoying, they chanted the entire show. How many times did they chant “this is awesome”?
The main event was ok but it wasnt anything special. A muscle buster from the middle rope but yet it got so much praise on twitter. Maybe im wrong but i dont see anything special from “any” move from the middle turnbuckle.
And then during the tag team match, twitter exploded over a double ankle lock submission. Maybe im wrong, but i didnt see anything special about that either.
Overall, i didnt enjoy it. Nakamura needs to be on Raw tho.
You’re just looking for nothing. You just sound like an old curmudgeon
Lol i dont even know what a curmedgeon is. But I do respect your opinion tho.
You should’ve went in there knowing full well that the experience between watching it on television and watching it live are completely different. There are no camera effects or cuts to make a move looks like it hurts, there’s no way to hear commentary, there are no close ups with mics that make each hit sound louder than they really are.
You’re gonna be standing on one spot and watching from one camera: your eyes.
You have to go in there with the mentality that your main vocal calls will be the crowd, and you have to be ready to be part of the crowd’s electricity, otherwise you’re gonna be miserable.
Hopefully, if you decide to attend another event, you’ll have a much better experience. If not, then I suggest just sticking to watching events at the comfort of your own home.
I was watching it from home. I meant to say that I’ve never watched an NxT event ever.
I’ve been to plenty of WWE house shows and a couple PPV’s (when they come near my area), hell, i even attended wrestlemania this yr.
