As you likely have heard by now, Brock Lesnar will be returning to the octagon for UFC 200 om July 9th. Lesnar will face off against Mark Hunt, who is known for his incredible knock out power and is coming off a couple big wins. This is a classic wrestler vs striker match up for the UFC. If Brock is able to get Hunt off his feet, this one is over. If the two stand and trade strikes, Hunt wins this with ease. We checked around for the opening UFC 200 betting odds to see who was the initial favorite.
According to Oddsshark.com, the UFC 200 betting odds opened with Brock Lesnar as the -200 favorite over Mark Hunt (+175). As of writing this, the odds completely switched sides, with Hunt now the betting favorite (-197) against Brock (+173). For a shift like that to happen, many fans must have been hammering Hunt for the win. The odds will keep changing and we will update you guys when it gets closer to the event.
Being a big WWE fan, I will be cheering for Brock. I also hope he doesn’t get injured at the event so he can still compete at Summerslam. A win in the octagon would only do wonders for the WWE product.
