Adam Rose Changes Ring Name For Career After WWE

Adam Rose needs a new ring name after being released by the WWE, it looks like he has it….

As you likely have heard by now, Adam Rose has been released from the WWE. This came after he was arrested for domestic violence and tampering with a witness in Florida a couple weeks ago. Rose (real name Raymond Leppan) will be continuing his wrestling career on the independent scene.

According to his Twitter page, he has changed his name to Aldo Rose. It appears like he will be keeping his party gimmick going moving forward but might be getting a bit edgier. His twitter page reads following:

“Ain’t no more PG in this party! For bookings email imalemooon@gmail.com! Formerly known as WWE Superstar Adam Rose” (Source: Twitter).

Many fans wanted to see him go back to his Leo Kruger gimmick that he used in NXT years ago. If you remember that character was a deranged hunter or mercenary. It looks like he is going to be keeping the party going.

WWE stars typically have a 3 month no-compete clause after they are released from the company so we likely won’t see him in action for a little while still.

We wish him luck as he progresses with his wrestling career outside of the WWE. Let us know in the comment section below what you think of the change!

  1. Adam Thorn would have seem more logical. Aldo Rose??? His tag-line could have been — “Every rose…. has its thorn.”
