RAW May 30 2016 Ratings Are In: Better Than Expected

RAW May 30 2016 Top 10 highlights (Video Link if not working on mobile).

This weeks RAW featured the return of John Cena back to WWE television. It was a special Memorial day edition of RAW which had many thinking that ratings would take a big hit because of the holiday. There was also the NBA Western Conference Finals Game 7 between the Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder that was surely going to take away some viewers. It appears that I was wrong and the ratings weren’t that bad.

According to WrestlingInc,  RAW averaged 3.229 million viewers for the show. This is only a little bit down from last weeks average of 3.268 million viewers. This is only a one percent drop which is encouraging news for the company.

Looks like John Cena is still a draw! I was really surprised that we didn’t see ratings dip below a 3 million average. Especially since the show we saw wasn’t very memorable other than AJ Styles turning heel and taking out the returning John Cena.
