The Boss Sasha Banks is arguably the most popular female in the WWE right now. We constantly hear ‘We Want Sasha’ chants when she isn’t competing.
Sasha Banks has been off WWE TV since the RAW after WrestleMania 32. There were rumors that she was dealing with a concussion but from reports she competed at this weekends WWE live events. It will be interesting to watch if we see her on tonight’s RAW or the WWE will keep her off TV. Steve Austin on a recent episode of The Steve Austin Show, praised The Boss Sasha Banks and hopes the WWE brings her back as a solo act when she is brought back to WWE TV.
Here is what he said:
“She is a tremendous worker. She [has] got a great look. She [has] got a great gimmick. She can talk. She can do it all! And I think the young lady has money written all over her, but she [has] got to be a single person that’s not got anybody running any interference for her, not taking away any shine from her, any of her camera time. She is a solo act. ‘The Legit Boss’? It kind of speaks for itself. If they ain’t got anything for her, keep her off TV. But if you’re going to bring her back, bring her back full green light and bring her back in a solo run” (Source: The Steve Austin Show: H/T WrestlingInc).
I can’t wait for her to return and I agree with Steve here. She has no business being in a faction like she was in Team B.A.D. She is a solo star and she is going to be WWE Women’s Champion sooner than later. Give her some TV time and let her shine!
