WWE Winnipeg Live Event. May 28th 2016.
The WWE was in Winnipeg, Manitoba on Saturday Night for a live event. The hometown of Chris Jericho was very loud for his homecoming! Here were the results from WWE Winnipeg:
- Big Show defeated Erick Rowan (With Braun Strowman) via KO Punch.
- Epico (With Primo aka the Shining Stars) defeated Sin Cara.
- Cesaro defeated Baron Corbin via submission.
- The New Day defeated the Vaudevillians.
- Becky Lynch, Paige and Sasha Banks defeated Dana Brooke, Summer Rae and Lana. This was Sasha’s first match back from injury
- Rusev defeated Alberto Del Rio and Kalisto to retain his WWE United States Championship.
- Chris Jericho defeated Dean Ambrose in a Winnipeg Street Fight. Jericho and Ambrose switched roles here with Jericho getting the babyface pop and Ambrose acting heelish. Jericho thanked the crowd to end the show after he won!
