Virgil Says Hulk Hogan’s Racial Rant Could Have Been A Voice Over

Ted DiBiase and Virgil.

You might remember Virgil from his time in the WWE as the body guard for the ‘Million Dollar Man’ Ted Dibiase back in the late 1980’s. Recently, he has become a bit of an internet sensation on social media and other forums. In a recent interview with Wrestlezone radio, Virgil argues that Hulk Hogan’s racial rant could have been voiced over by someone who was jealous. If you remember back to last summer, a video leaked of Hogan saying a lot of racist things. This lead to the WWE cutting all their ties with him.

Here is what Virgil said:

“I don’t think, to me, I don’t think Hulk said that type of stuff. It could have been a voice over or something like that. I don’t think Hulk would ever say anything like that. It could have been somebody else. You know how people do voice overs of people that are pretty important? They can have your mouth moving and they put the words in to it” (Source: Wrestlezone).

On why someone would go to those lengths to do that to Hulk:

“It’s not that they don’t like him it’s that they’re jealous. A lot of people can get jealous. They say they are in his position and they are not” (Source: Wrestlezone).

He also went on to say that he doesn’t believe that Hulk Hogan is a racist at all.

I am almost certain Hulk has apologized for saying those things in the rant, so doesn’t that kind of counteract Virgil’s point? If it was made up Hogan would be arguing that??? Just Virgil being Virgil I guess lol.
