5 Questions Heading Into WWE Extreme Rules 2016

1) Will the New Day retain and move closer to becoming the longest reigning  WWE Tag Team Champions of all time

The longest reigning WWE Tag Team Champions of all time are currently Paul London and Brian Kendrick with a reign of 331 days back in 2006/ 2007. The New Day are currently sitting at 271 days as of writing this. A win at WWE Extreme Rules against the Vaudevillians would set them up another step closer towards history.

I really think the WWE is going to have them break the record of Kendrick and London. London has been known to bash the WWE as you can see at the link below where he said the WWE was a horrible place to work.

It also just feels too early for the Vaudevillians to win the titles. They just made their debuts prior to WWE Payback last month and are just getting their footing on the main roster. I am not sure if the WWE is ready to pull the trigger and break the New Day’s title reign up.

It should be noted that the WWE does NOT include the World Tag Team Title in their rankings. Demolition holds the longest reign at 478 days back in the late 1980’s for that belt. The WWE only counts the WWE Tag Team Championship.
