Batista Rips The Signature Stephanie McMahon Slap and Her WWE Character

Batista was the recipient of the patented Stephanie McMahon Slap back in 2014. (link if not working on mobile).

Stephanie McMahon recently tweeted about her WWE characters signature move being her devastating ‘slap’.It appears that former WWE star turned actor Dave Bautista, isn’t a fan of the maneuver. During his time in the WWE as ‘Batista’ he was a recipient of a Stephanie McMahon slap a couple times (as you can see in the video above). He took to twitter to respond to her tweet (taking a dig at her WWE character in the process).

Here was Batista’s response, achieving don’t give a F*** status:

He kind of makes a point here. Without trying to use too much insider language. Stephanie slaps characters often but the people she slaps can’t hit her back (receipt in wrestling lingo). It really doesn’t achieve much for the angle other than emasculating them for her own gain. The only thing that happens is Stephanie solidifies her power as an Authority character.

I also love Batista’s attitude. He is at a spot where he doesn’t necessarily need the WWE anymore with his successful acting career. He seems to take shots at the WWE every here and there when he doesn’t like something.
