As you might have heard by now, Stephanie McMahon while being interviewed by TMZ, said that Chyna will likely be going into the WWE Hall of Fame one day. This has angered a lot of fans who believed that Chyna should have been inducted while she was still alive. One of these people angered was Vince Russo. Russo if you are unfamiliar is one of the most controversial figures in the history of professional wrestling and has served on the creative team of both WCW and WWE. Vince Russo RIPPED the WWE over their treatment of Chyna, specifically Triple H, Vince and Stephanie McMahon.
Here is what Russo said on his blog:
“It’s so sad that Joan Laurer had to actually DIE in order to be recognized by the WWE. Honestly, mere words here cannot even start to describe how sad, pathetic and just out right disgusting that is. While she was on this planet Vince, Hunter and Stephanie didn’t even have the decency to treat her like a human being, let alone someone who contributed to their overall success over the years. But in her death . . . she is SURE to get in the Hall of Fame” (RussoBrand.com).
Strong words from Russo, who was close with Chyna. He posted this rant in response to the video of Stephanie McMahon with TMZ that we mentioned above. Chyna and the WWE had a rocky relationship prior to her passing and she never was inducted into the Hall of Fame while living. It looks like now that she has passed, they are going to honor her. Certainly a tough situation for friends of Chyna and I can understand why Russo is upset.

It’s a fair statement by Russo. She should’ve been treated fairly before she died. It’s very ill-minded for the WWE to talk all of these great things about her after she passed away.
