As we noted before, Ryback updated fans on Tuesday about his current contract dispute with the WWE with a lengthy post. This received a mixed response from fans. Some applauded Ryback for sticking up for himself and other wrestlers regarding their pay. Other’s didn’t agree with his point about wanting wrestlers with equal pay. Jim Ross took to his blog to talk about the current situation, saying he probably should have kept his displeasure behind closed doors. He also spoke about how he would book Ryback in WWE.
Here is what JR said:
“Take it from me and this goes for virtually every walk of life one can imagine, it works infinitely better when one ‘converses’ and not ‘confronts’ when dealing with negotiations or most any facet of business. I’m not saying that was the case here with Ryback and WWE but it’s just good, general info for all of us to file away. For the record, unless Ryback is going to be booked ala The Warrior, which isn’t a terrible idea, I can easily see Ryback as a large, overbearing bully of an antagonist in WWE. The character is globally relatable and I think that Ryback could pull it off. I do not know the back story on this matter but when negotiations run into the closing window of an existing contract the talent and the company find themselves in uncomfortable territory. Plus, sometime it is also good for all involved to part and begin anew. Remember, conversing and not confronting will get you the results that you seek more often than not” (Source: JRsBarBQ.com).
I agree with JR’s point about conversing rather than confronting as the best course of action. I just don’t think Ryback cares anymore and just wants to get his feelings across. I can’t see the WWE being too happy with his criticism and I think the two sides will part ways.

If they do part ways, I’m going to miss the Big Guy. Wish he would’ve gotten a bigger push a few years ago.
