Big Surprise Debut At NXT Taping (Spoilers)

At the most recent NXT taping, Eric Young made his surprise debut! It was reported a couple months ago that Eric Young and Bobby Roode had left TNA and were likely heading to the WWE. We already saw Bobby Roode at the most recent NXT Takeover special. It was thought that Roode would make his debut with NXT first but it looks like Eric Young beat him to it! Young apparently came to the ring and interrupted NXT Champion Samoa Joe. The two worked together in TNA previously.

The WWE announced it on Twitter on Thursday night:

Triple H commented on Eric Young arriving in NXT:

If you are unfamiliar with Young, he has worked for TNA since 2004 and has held their World Championship. Looking forward to seeing what he can do in NXT! I assume that it is just a matter of time before Bobby Roode makes his debut as well!! The WWE seems to be getting a lot of guys from NXT lately!

Let us know your thoughts on the debut! Are you familiar with Eric Young and what kind of role do you see him having with NXT moving forward?

  1. Not familiar with this guy. I, personally, only watch WWE. Hell, i dont even watch NxT. Not because I dont think its good, its just I have a wife, son, a job, & college. I also make room for my PS4 too. Not a lot of time. I just watch Raw and PPVs.

But I hope this guy is a good wrestler.
