The Roman Reigns crowd reaction saga lives on. It has become a very fascinating part of watching weekly WWE TV to see how the crowd will respond to Roman Reigns. Reigns has been getting a very mixed response for the past couple months with a large majority of fans choosing to boo him. This has had fans begging for him to turn heel and play into those boo’s that he is receiving. Legendary commentator Jim Ross recently commented on the negative reaction that Reigns has been getting and what it means moving forward.

“The audience is passionate about their feelings toward Roman Reigns which isn’t all bad. If there were crickets then that would be bad. Most fans are booing but they are also making noise which is encouraging. I’m not even sure any more what reactions the live audience would provide us viewers if Reigns was turned in to a full fledged villain. Just my take but how Roman Reigns has been booked may be the single biggest reason that fans are so reluctant and resistant to accept him as a fan favorite. That may sound over simplistic but today’s audience is more complex and knowledgeable than their predecessors of any generation and as a society few like being ‘force fed’ any thing. I agree with JR here. Reigns has been booked pretty poorly as the top guy and it has made fans resent him. The audience isn’t giving him crickets like he says, which is a good sign. As long as fans keep paying to attend shows and to boo Reigns, the WWE doesn’t care because they already have your money. I think we will only see a change if fans are silent for him and want him to simply go away which doesn’t seem likely.

As long as they continue to boo him instead of being quiet. Also, as long as they keep watching. Im a supporter of Reigns but it would be awesome if the crowd chanted “die roman die” like they did the The Rock when the crowd didnt like him as a good guy.
Reigns works as an enforcer for a heel. That’s what he should be.
