Smackdown April 28 2016.
The WWE invaded: Manchester, New Hampshire for this weeks Smackdown!!! The Show was taped on April 26 2016. Smackdown will air on April 28th 2016 in the United States.
Here are the results for this weeks Smackdown:
- Roman Reigns is on Miz TV to start the show with the Miz and Maryse. After a verbal exchange, Reigns ends up throwing the Miz out of the ring to end the segment. The Miz vs Reigns is announced as the main event.
- Kalisto, Cesaro and Sami Zayn defeat Rusev, Alberto Del Rio and Sheamus of the League of Nations. Rusev and Alberto Del Rio end up leaving Sheamus by himself, breaking up the League of Nations (which we had reported on earlier).
- Baron Corbin defeated Damien Sandow.
- Dean Ambrose hosts the ‘Ambrose Asylum’ with Charlotte, Ric Flair and Natalya. This was said to be an entertaining segment with Ric and Nattie going back and forth.
- Enzo Amore and Big Cass defeated The Social Outcasts. The New Day were on commentary and the Vaudevillians came down during the match at one point. Also, apparently Byron Saxton was forced to sit on the floor by the New Day in a funny part of the show.
- Apollo Crews defeated Stardust.
- Roman Reigns defeated the Miz via Spear. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson come out to beat down Reigns after the match as AJ Styles looked on (but didn’t stop him). The Usos come to make the save and Smackdown ended with Reigns throwing Styles over the top rope!!!
Sounds like a half decent show this week heading into WWE Payback on Sunday. I personally can’t wait for the show and especially Reigns vs Styles in the main event.
