Eric Bischoff.
There have been some rumors that TNA wrestling is having some financial issues right now. The company is apparently looking for investors to help fund the company moving forward. Some fans on twitter thought it would be a good opportunity for Eric Bischoff to invest in TNA. Bischoff worked for TNA from 2010- 2014 where he worked both behind the scenes and on screen for the company. Before that, we all know his history running WCW prior to the companies defeat at the hands of the WWE during the Monday Night Wars. He also appeared on-screen with the WWE, appearing as the General Manager of RAW for a couple years.
As you can from his tweet, Bischoff is NOT interested in anything to do with the floundering company. It makes sense considering a lot of people within the wrestling world feel like TNA might be a sinking ship. If Bischoff was thinking about getting into the professional wrestling world again, he possibly would want to start his own thing.
Bischoff did tease a couple weeks ago that he is planning to make a move in the sports entertainment/ pro-wrestling world. As we can see now, this has obviously nothing to do with TNA.
Here was his tweet:
Getting closer and closer every day to my next move in the sports entertainment/ProWrestling biz. Thanks to those… https://t.co/HQx6SPbsWg
