Many fans criticize Eva Marie because they don’t feel like she wants to improve as a wrestler and is only doing this for the fame. A recent interview with New You probably won’t gain her any wrestling fans who were on the fence on the debate. Eva revealed her career goals, which mainly focused on things outside the WWE Universe and going mainstream in different avenues.
On what is different about her than the other Women in the WWE:
“I think that I personally stand out because my end game and career goals are ones that any of the Divas have yet to achieve. Not only do I want to leave an impact on the WWE Universe as an entertainer but I also want to bridge the dynamics of the WWE and the mainstream world. For instance, I want to bring them [WWE] along to Paris fashion week, blockbuster movie, red carpet events, and makeup aisles within major department stores. Being an entertainer is a huge part of who I am but there are many more facets to me. That is why it is important for me to distinguish myself in more ways as an entertainer within the WWE” (Source: New You).
I don’t want to make this into an entirely anti-Eva Marie thing. I can appreciate that she sets some of her aspirations high outside of the ring. The only problem to me is just that it feels like she would rather be doing those things over improving as a wrestler. I can’t help but feel like the WWE is only a stepping stone for her and if she had one decent offer for something mainstream, she would be out. And that is okay if she has other goals, just don’t take the spots of other female talent who love the business and want to be the best wrestler they can be.
Dwayne ‘the Rock’ Johnson became super mainstream but not until after he proved himself as one of the greatest wrestlers of all-time.

Things like these are why girls like her and Cameron are universally panned by fans. She will never be loved by the majority audience, only by little misguided girls who worship pop culture. The times are changing and the divas’ time is over. If she has no aspirations for being a pro wrestler, then she better start smooching whoever has what she wants. It worked for the Bellas, right?
Good for Eva Marie. I cheer for all the time, but then again im not a hardcore/IWC fan so thats probably why.
Eva Marie SHOULD make as much money as she can & then use her WWE fame & credentials to get the fuck out of WWE and do other things. WWE Universe hate her already so fuck em.

She’s a phony with big “assets” and not much of a personality. She just wants to be looked at and admired. She stands for nothing except her own self image. As far as wrestling goes, I’ve seen her wrestle then and now and, even though there is a slight improvement, she doesn’t deserve to be front and center for anything WWE related.
She gets a HUGE respone from the crowd. A negative respone, but none the less, its still a HUGE response. She gets so much heat from literally every single person in every building. If people ignored her and there was crickets chirping when she came out, Vince would throw her to the dogs. But thanks to you guys(people who watch WWE) she gets on TV.
Nobody to blame but yourselves. Ya’ll cant stand her so you boo her LOUDLY when you are just supposed to stay quiet & ignore her.
We don’t need people like that in WWE… and that’s why the crowd boos her. Not because she has “good heel heat”.
