The Rock teamed with John Cena to take out the Wyatt Family at WrestleMania 32. This was an interesting segment that had mixed reviews from fans. Some fans thought it was a ‘burial’ of Bray Wyatt and the Wyatt Family. Some others enjoyed it for the entertainment aspect of it and thought the Rock put Bray over on the mic. The Rock recently posted on Instagram and put over Bray Wyatt further:
The Rock posted this on Instagram about his segment at WrestleMania 32:
Here was the caption about Bray Wyatt:
“An unforgettable night. THANK YOU to all the fans for making it so dope and special. And a huge thank you to my guy Bray Wyatt and his boys for the dance. As we discussed in the locker room, if we do it right, it’ll be the most talked about moment of Mania for the fans. We did. It was. Congrats. Thank you for the trust. The world of the WWE is yours Bray and I want nothing but all the success in the world for you. Get it” (Source: The Rock’s Instagram).
This is high praise from the Rock and a great endorsement. I really hope the WWE books Bray Wyatt better moving forward. I think he could be a pivotal part of the WWE in the upcoming decade if they treat him as the monster he is. He clearly has something special and the WWE has a big opportunity with him. I like that they turned him babyface when he attacked the League of Nations on RAW and I think fans want to cheer for him.
Would love to hear peoples opinions on the Rock’s comments or what you think of Bray Wyatt’s future. How would you book Bray moving forward?
