RAW April 11 2016 Review

RAW April 11 2016!

Wow what a SHOW!!!! This RAW just felt different and I mean that in the best possible way. Shane McMahon started the show off with a bang by announcing some great and fresh matches! Shane announced AJ Styles vs Sami Zayn, a Tag Team Tournament and Kevin Owens vs Cesaro. This was an amazing way to kick off the show and got me really fired up that we aren’t seeing the usual WWE booking of Roman Reigns vs Big Show or other matches we have seen 100 times. This RAW just felt like a breath of fresh air that was much needed for the WWE product.

The best part of the night and the most talked about was the debut of the BULLET CLUB!! Karl Anderson and Doc (back to Luke now?) Gallows appeared to beat the hell out of the Usos. This was months in the making as we have been teased from Finn Balor and the WWE for a long time. It was worth it and was a great moment (You can see how Twitter exploded for this moment here). This was shades of the Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) in WCW back in the day! A very fun moment! I saw some fans complaining about the moment being wasted on the Usos. I don’t think the Usos are the ones to feud with them right away. I think Anderson and Gallows start to just destroy the tag team division to show their dominance. I don’t think the WWE is going to use this massive debut on just a feud with the Usos, just my opinion though!

AJ Styles vs Sami Zayn was incredible and so was Kevin Owens vs Cesaro. I enjoyed both matches. I also liked Roman Reigns teaming with Bray Wyatt as it was something a bit different. The sister Abigail into the spear was awesome!

I really hope Shane continues to run RAW moving forward. The show has just been so much fun over the past couple 2 weeks. I know fans are upset that it pretty much voids his match result with the Undertaker but I am just enjoying this change of pace!

Tag team tournament was a great idea! Can’t wait to see Enzo and Cass vs the Dudley Boyz next week on RAW! Will be fun!

Natalya was screwed over in her title match against Charlotte. Guessing this one happens again at WWE Payback!

I can’t say I have been this excited for another RAW so soon. Everything feels a bit different (a good different) and I can’t wait to see what they do next!

Let me know what you thought of the show in the comment section!

  1. Solid review. I agree with you. I would say this week’s RAW was better than last week’s. I wonder will Shane host next week’s RAW.
