5) New Tag Team Champions!

The third match of the night was for the NXT Tag Team Championships. The Authors of Pain took on Johnny Gargano and Tomasso Ciampa.

Both teams put up a great fight, even with DIY having a massive height and weight disadvantage. The Authors of Pain proved to be too much, winning the match with the ‘Last Chapter’ to Ciampa:

The Authors of Pain look unstoppable so far in their NXT careers. They have run through absolutely everyone and it doesn’t look like any team will be able to take them down.

DIY’s title reign ends after only a few months with the belts.
