3) Scott Steiner
Scott Steiner is one of the most outspoken guys in wrestling history. If he dislikes you, there is a high chance that you are going to hear about it. Shawn Michaels is on the list of people Steiner dislikes in the wrestling business and he doesn’t hold back.
He starts by telling an unflattering story about Michaels:
“Shawn Michaels is one of those wise-cracking guys who would say a smart comment to you, but then if you face him, he would run and cry somewhere. That’s exactly what happened one time when he was cutting down the Harris Brothers, I think it was Don Harris. Finally, he had enough. He waited until Shawn Michaels got in the room, kicked everybody out of the room, shut the door, grabbed him by the neck and was going to pound the [heck] out of him. A tear came down his eye. He turned around, started laughing and walked out. That is Shawn Michaels in a nutshell” (Source: The Baltimore Sun).
That’s Not All
Michaels was also included in Steiner’s rant about Ric Flair and Triple H:
“The only guys that do are Triple H and Shawn Michaels. They’re three peas in a pod, three guys who couldn’t fight their way out of a paper bag. They’re three of the biggest [wusses] that have ever been in the sport. And they’re all friends, imagine that. They all come from the same mold. They were never athletes and the way they got things done was behind closed doors and backstabbing people” (Source: The Baltimore Sun).
Safe to say he isn’t a fan of the Heartbreak Kid.
4) Honky Tonk Man
You likely remember the Honky Tonk Man from his time in the WWF during the late 1980’s and sporadically ever since. He holds the record for the longest WWE Intercontinental Championship reign, as he held the belt for 454 days.
It appears as if he isn’t a fan of Shawn Michaels in the slightest, accusing him of being Vince McMahon’s ‘boy toy’ and faking injuries so he didn’t have to lose to people.
Here is what he said during one of his shoot interviews:
“And Shawn, if you weren’t Vince’s boy toy, you would be gone and you know it, everybody knows it. You were the only one who left the company with: ‘ohhhh my back, my back….. I lost my smile’. Yet you stayed on, $14,000 dollars a week, $14,000 a week. The whole time you were away…. Your back was hurting?” (Source: Youtube).
He continued in a mocking voice:
“I lost my smile…. I guess you weren’t bending over in the right position anymore” (Source: Youtube).
Safe to say Shawn Michaels pissed him off at some point during their time together in the WWF.
