Step 4: Ronda Rousey (RAW Women’s Champion) vs Becky Lynch (Smackdown Women’s Champion) at Survivor Series
Since I have Ronda still holding the RAW Women’s Championship heading into Survivor Series, that means she will be facing the Smackdown Women’s Champion at the event.
I don’t think that this will be the place where WWE does Ronda vs Charlotte Flair. As a result, my guess is that Charlotte drops the Smackdown Women’s Championship to Becky Lynch over the next few months. That leaves us with Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch at Survivor Series. Sounds like a fun match and one that is high on my list of Ronda matches that I want to see.
I think that Ronda would win but this would be a great match.
Match Result: Ronda wins.
Step 5: Ronda Rousey vs Sasha Banks for the RAW Women’s Championship At TLC
After Survivor Series, it becomes a lot more wide open. Ronda is going to need a fresh feud for the next few months. My early guess after looking at the RAW roster is that it will be against Sasha Banks.
I think that many fans would like to see Ronda vs Sasha. This seems like it would be a fun match and feud. I don’t think that you really need to turn either of them heel, just a feud based on wanting to be the best Woman on the roster.
I think that this would be where we see the first chink in the armor of Ronda. My guess is that she loses the match via count-out. Ronda keeps the Title but this is sold as Ronda’s first real setback since joining WWE. I don’t think that you can have Ronda defeating everybody clean and we need her to look at least somewhat beatable moving forward.
Match Result: Sasha wins via count out.
Step 6: Ronda Rousey vs Sasha Banks for the RAW Women’s Championship At Royal Rumble
Based on the finish of the last match, this sets us up for another Ronda vs Sasha clash at the Royal Rumble. The story being told on the build is that Sasha is now a legitimate threat to defeat Ronda.
In the rematch, Ronda is going to end up on top. This time, we get a lengthy match between them and a clean finish. If they are given enough time, there is no doubt in my mind that this could be one of the best matches of both of their careers.
My guess is that they put on a classic here.
