7) The Undertaker Debuts!
The Undertaker made his television debut at Survivor Series in 1990. He originally competed as ‘Kane The Undertaker’ at live events until they made the change to call him simply: The Undertaker.
At Survivor Series, he was revealed as the mystery partner of ‘The Million Dollar Team’. He teamed with Ted DiBiase, the Honky Tonk Man and Greg Valentine in a Survivor Series elimination match. They defeated the ‘Dream Team’ consisting of Dusty Rhodes, Koko B. Ware and the Hart Foundation.

The Undertaker has gone on to become one of the most successful professional wrestlers in WWE history. He holds the record for the longest Wrestlemania winning streak (21-0) that will likely never be broken. He will go down in WWE history as a legend and as one of the most popular stars to ever work for the company.
Awesome that it all began at Survivor Series! ‘Taker has had a lot of success at the event, wrestling 18 times with a 13 and 5 record.
6) The Alliance Disbands
Survivor Series 2001 marked the ending of one of WWE’s most famous storylines… WCW’s invasion of the WWF! This happened at the end of the Monday Night Wars between WWF and WCW.
It all began when WWF purchased WCW back in 2001. For a storyline, it was revealed that Shane McMahon had bought WCW under his father nose and he wanted to take over the WWF. Thus, we saw several WCW stars make run-ins on RAW, making it seem like they were trying to take over the company.
The invasion storyline ran for much of 2001, finally ending at Survivor Series. Team WWF (The Rock, Chris Jericho, The Undertaker, Kane, and The Big Show) vs Team Alliance (Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, Booker T, Rob Van Dam, and Shane McMahon) in a winner-takes-all match. Team WWF won the match at Survivor Series, disbanding the Alliance for good.

The angle is one of the most memorable in WWE history. It all ended at Survivor Series. The only shame is that some of WCW’s biggest stars from the past weren’t involved. How much better would this have been if Goldberg, Sting and Kevin Nash were around?
