5) Jim Cornette

When you hear Cornette’s name, it usually is closer associated to him being critical or negative towards someone in professional wrestling. It might surprise you that he has defended Seth Rollins and had nothing but good things to say about him.

Here is what he said:

“I did work with Tyler Black/Seth Rollins in Ring Of Honor for a couple of years. I guarantee the Ring of Honor matches were more over the top, hard-hitting, contained more dangerous spots than most WWE matches will. I don’t remember Seth Rollins hurting anybody with anything” (Source: Youtube).

Cornette continued:

“I never experienced anyone having to have surgery or take time off from what I can recall. Working a much more physical, fast paced style in Ring of Honor than they do in the WWE. I wonder if part of it is bad luck, is part of it due to a change in environment?” (Source: Youtube).

Cornette also says that he talked to Sting about his match against Seth Rollins and Sting blames himself for what happened and not Seth.
