The Miz took on Dolph Ziggler to open episode 900 of Smackdown!!! The match was for the Intercontinental Championship. If the Miz lost, he was traded to the RAW brand.
The Miz and Ziggler put on a fantastic match. Plenty of close calls and false finishes that kept the fans entertained. The Miz ended up winning with the help of Maryse:

With a little push from his wife outside of the ring, the Miz is the new champion!!! This ends Ziggler’s short title reign of only a couple of weeks. For as many times we have seen Ziggler and the Miz wrestle over the past few months, this match still was fantastic!!!
